I am Debora Young
I grew up in the heart of Buenos Aires, a city that pulses with energy, creativity, and culture. Surrounded by vibrant street art, galleries, and the rhythm of the city's diverse neighborhoods, I was drawn to the world of art from an early age. I remember spending hours sketching, experimenting with colors, and dreaming of turning those ideas into something more. Buenos Aires, with its rich artistic heritage, became the perfect backdrop for my journey into the world of design.
It all really began when I attended an art high school, where my passion for creativity turned into a love for design. Those were the years of experimentation—learning to look at the world differently and letting ideas flow through observation, transformation, and imagination. For me, design has always been about more than just making things look beautiful. It's about understanding, observing, and finding inspiration from everything around me, whether it's the details of a building, the way light falls through a window, or a fleeting conversation.
As I began to travel, my perspective expanded even more. Traveling opened up my eyes to new cultures, different ways of living, and endless forms of creative expression. These experiences taught me that life itself is a form of art, and every new place and interaction offers fresh inspiration for my work.
Professionally, I've worked on branding, social media design, packaging, and digital marketing projects. Each project has helped me sharpen my skills and grow my understanding of how design plays a key role in telling a brand's story. I've worked with both startups and established brands, developing visual identities and content that engages and resonates with their audience. I also gained valuable insights working in a marketing agency, learning how design and marketing work hand in hand to create powerful campaigns.
Right now, I'm focused on growing even more as a designer. I'm studying for an Advanced Diploma in Digital Marketing and diving deeper into illustration and animation—particularly frame-by-frame animation, which has become an exciting part of my creative process. I believe in the power of continuous learning, always seeking new ways to express ideas and challenge myself.
For me, design is about making connections—between people, brands, and their audiences. It's about finding the essence of an idea and bringing it to life in a way that feels genuine and inspiring. I look forward to continuing this journey, collaborating with amazing people, and helping brands tell their stories in creative, meaningful ways.
